"Sins of the Fathers" is a 10,000-word investigation into Indian Residential Schools in Canada that stemmed from ten months of research, dozens of interviews, numerous pouches of Sail tobacco offered, and thousands of miles travelled.  The final article -- edited by Moira Farr and published by a fearless and compassionate editor named David Harris -- ran as a 16-page insert in the Anglican Journal (May, 2000).  We included a cover story titled “Ottawa Experimented on Native Kids”.  The fallout from our investigation into this fatally flawed school system was immediate, powerful and lasting.  Read: https://www.anglicanjournal.com/sins-of-the-fathers/ & https://www.anglicanjournal.com/ottawa-experimented-on-native-kids-945/
